I am fascinated by marine microbes and how they interact with our world.

I am a postdoctoral investigator at WHOI with Dr. Mak Saito and Dr. Liz Kujawinski. My research integrates omics (mainly proteomics and metabolomics) with physiological and elemental measurements, and aims to connect phytoplankton cellular mechanisms with Earth-scale biogeochemical processes. Prior to my postdoc, I received my PhD from Dalhousie University under the supervision of Dr. Erin Bertrand.
I embrace an open, collaborative and curiosity-driven approach to science, and enjoy asking questions about the natural world. My past research included work on fungal endophytes, insect electrophysiology, and atmospheric chemistry. I am always excited to learn, collaborate and chat about science, so feel free to get in touch!
